Background

AWS (The Adibasi Welfare Society, Registered under Societies Act 21, 1860, No. 39/82-83) is a professionally managed organization committed to provide quality services in the field of skilled/ semi-skilled and unskilled contractual job works, Industrial Labour related issues, labour intensive job works and other technical job works.

AWS started its operations in the year 1979 with a group of people concerned about the upliftment of the tribal and downtrodden section of the society. Tata Steel, the Steel Major came forward and provided opportunity to AWS, so as to achieve the aim set out by the founding members of AWS. In due course of time, AWS with its greater learning curve and hunger for excellence, started delivering and currently, it is providing more than 300 direct employment to marginal and tribal people, in Tata Steel and other Corporate Sectors. Similarly, more than 134 persons have been employed through sister concern viz Adibasi Welfare Trust and other activities.

Experience

We have 31 years of long experience in service sector industry. In all these years we were associated with wide range of service activities which include manual as well as mechanized Housekeeping services, Tailor made Transportation, civil works and earth moving activities.
